Days Three and Four Around Bozeman

Trip: Rapid City SD to Montana, Memorial Day 2017
We arrived in Bozeman to what we were very used to in late May -- snow.  Snow in town (light), and lots of snow on the mountains (heavier).   May snow is very common -- often juxtaposed with blooming in the Gallatin Valley and on the hills surrounding the valley.

At the same time it's snowing in the hills, it's blooming in the Gallatin Valley.

And snowing again in the mountains.

And shaking off the snow and blooming again in town.

Between storms, we got in a nice walk around Lindley Park near the Bozeman library and had a chance to see some of the sculpture in the sculpture garden along the pathways.

And another snow coats the "M" for Montana State University (where we both got our undergraduate degrees) just before we packed up and headed for Great Falls for the next leg of our trip.
