This day we drove the Million Dollar Highway from Montrose CO to Pagosa Springs CO

We spent the day exploring the South Rim of Black Canyon of the Gunnison Canyon National Park.

Eagle CO to Montrose CO with a long stop at the north rim of Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.

On Day two, we drove from Laramie WY to Eagle CO.

On our first day we drove from Rapid City SD to Laramie WY.

Driving through the burned area of the Battle Creek Forest Fire in the Black hills National Forest, we observe the changed ecology and scenery.

A short drive on Black Hills National Forest Road 354.1C takes us to beaver ponds along the South Dakota Centennial Trail where we find dragonflies and thunderstorms
